Morenike Kehinde LL.B (Unilag), BL, LL.M (Unilag)

Lead Partner

Morenike is the Lead Partner of Maison Legal and the head of the Corporate and Commercial Units. She is a Lawyer with multi-disciplinary experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual property, Property, Corporate governance and compliance.

Morenike is actively involved in large portfolio transactions for companies in Manufacturing, Business consultancy, Finance, Advertising, Engineering, Oil and Gas, Energy, Environmental Services and other sectors. She handles and gives strategic advice on international contracts, business advisory, corporate restructuring, financing, debt recovery, real estate transactions, corporate governance, regulatory and statutory compliance, mortgages, commercial transactions, due diligence, proffering legal opinions on a wide range of matters and property acquisition for companies that operate locally and internationally, and she has worked with foreign investors to meet their real estate needs.

She advises Boards of several companies and in recognition of her vast knowledge of corporate governance, secretarial practice and business advisory services, she sits on the Board of several companies and provides company secretarial services to domestic and foreign owned companies.

Morenike previously headed the Legal department of an Oil and Gas Service and Consulting Company, she was the Secretary (Lagos Zone) of the Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria, which was established by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).

Morenike holds an LL.M in Law and is a graduate of University of Lagos. She is an MBA student of University of South Wales, Pontypridd, Wales.

Tolu graduated from the University of Lagos where she obtained an LL.B degree. She graduated from the Nigerian Law School in 2007 and was enrolled as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. In 2010 she obtained a Masters in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University, Wales, United Kingdom.

Tolu is innovative and highly motivated. She is quite driven in her professional capacity as a legal practitioner, professional manager and business developer. Her experience and areas of practice are Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial services, Compliance and Regulatory Matters, Property acquisition and sales, Maritime Law, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has an avid interest for Data Protection, Project Financing, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, Globalisation and she has a working knowledge and understanding of the Business culture in Asia.

Her passion for companies to imbibe the best corporate practices led her to be trained as a Corporate Administrator and Secretary and in Management for a competitive edge. Her desire for a New Nigeria made her pick a deep interest in Public governance and Administration, and be a part of Medi- Initiative Abuja, and Applied Biblical Foundation, Kaduna, whose main objective is to empower the helpless and the youth of Nigeria to enable them to be valuable to the society. Her zeal and energy for great work ethics, integrity and excellence is commendable.

She is an accredited Solicitor of the Corporate Affairs Commission, a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, a Chartered Secretary – Associate Member of the Chartered Governance Institute, United Kingdom and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom.

Eunice Olatunji LL.B (Hons) Ilorin, BL, MBA (Ife), ACTI, ASCMA

Eunice graduated from the University of Ilorin with a Second Class (Upper Division) LL.B degree. She also passed out of the Nigerian Law School in 2008 with a Second Class (Upper Division) and was enrolled as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and admitted to the Nigerian Bar in November 2008.

Eunice is a highly skilled and experienced litigator who handles both civil and commercial litigation in the High Courts and Appellate courts, handling a wide range of cases spanning company and commercial law, Land law and compensation matters, Contract and Labour/Employment law, banking and securities law and Criminal law/litigation. Eunice is also involved in appellate matters in the Court of Appeal and she is vastly experienced with trial advocacy and appellate practice and has been proven as an astute litigator.

Eunice is a Chartered Tax Practitioner certified by the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria. She handles tax advisory matters for clients and advises on the maximization of their returns and minimization of their legal and fiscal exposures in the Nigerian business environment including matters pertaining to payroll taxes, corporate income tax, personal income tax, capital gains tax, customs duties, stamp duties and value added tax. She regularly advises multinational, government and corporate clients in commercial disputes. In her line of duty, she explores mediation measures to settle disputes. She is a Mediation Advocate with the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates, Nigeria, certified by the Lagos Multi Door Court House as a Certified Mediator and enrolled as a member of panel of neutral at the Lagos Multi Door Court House.

She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association, she obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration (General Management) at the University of Ife.
